All I have on the dev box is SQLServer 2005 and Express(Express is turned
off).
Wierd but using SQLServer CE 2 with ActiveSync, I'm able to communicate with
the SQL Server 2005 database fine using SQL Server Agent 2.0......Do I have
to have SQLServer 2000 installed for this to work? Why does it work via
ActiveSync connection....???

I've upgraded a PPC app to VS2005 environment for dev purposes but still
pointing to SQLServer CE 2 for RDA Pull etc. - Never could get v3 to work.
Well the app works great in debug mode running on my Symbol PPT8800
connected via ActiveSync.
When I deploy the app to the device and tun it in an InVision network
wired cradle, it never communicates successfully with SQLServer somewhere.
I was wondering if it might have something to do with permissions on the
database. Course the RDA pull has all the UID/PW stuff but possibly could
the overall SQLServer2005 not like the fact that the program is calling
from another IP address (each cradle has it's own IP) and thus can't
create the database becuase of that.
I'm no DBA so forgive the stupid questions.
