This line just pauses the thread to give the progrqam a little bit of
time to load completely and run a little bit. This way I can look at
the clock on my form update for 5 seconds. I did not include all the
other code that takes care of updating the clock on the form, the form
itself, or anything else that's really in my program.
This line is really not the issue of my problem, and you can assume that
this line of code is not there if it makes it easier for you.
