    Hi, Debra:

Very interesting test. I changed the same column of the same row on the PDA,
synchronized, then changed the same through MSDE, and synchronized, raised a
publisher conflict on that record, and the change from the PDA was chosen as
the conflict winner, and showed up in the MSDE tables.

    Configuration:

    On the server:

Sql Server 2k with Service Pack 3 (I believe)

    On the PDA (hp iPAQ):

    App is developed using VB.NET

    Sql Server CE 2.0

    On the local machine:

MSDE v8.00.760 with Service Pack 4 (I believe)

Our replication (publishers) configuration is standard. We enable them for
SQL CE devices, but otherwise, we leave the default settings. The whole
table is replicated for both PDA and MSDE; we don't filter on columns or
    rows.

Any help you could provide with pinpointing how to "wake up" the MSDE
synchronization would be greatly appreciated; we have a work around that
involves connecting only online with MSDE and directly to the server,
obviously this isn't ideal for our remote users.

    Thanks!

    Seanna
