rda pull error

    hi all,

    We have a pda with our application running on it that connects to a sql server
    database on a pc. the connection is made via sqlce and iis using ActiveSync. pc is an xp machine.

    now, when i have the pc patched onto the internal network everything works
    great. no errors.. nothing!
    but, when i change the ip address and patch the pc onto an external port and use GPRS in the PDA to conncect to the server i get some strange problems.

    i can pull 4 tables with no problem but, when i pull the 5'the one
    i get a 80004005 error (28015 minor) - a secure sockets
    (ssl) connection is reqd.....

    put the pc back on the internal network and all the problems go away.

    i have not configured anything to use ssl.

    Any help gratefully accepted.
