Reference Machine Question

Hi All
I'm still having issues with the Intel Chipset for video drivers across
different desktop models!
The only video driver that installs correctly is the model of the
reference machine.
The driver package that I am using is from intel and supports the
chipsets for all the models.

So the question is before I capture my reference machine should I
uninstall all video drivers via device manager. delete oem*.* from
%systemroot%\inf and maybe out of the registry under the current
control set?

Mini setup should be smart enough to delect all PNP devices and it is
according to setupapi.log but it still fails to install the video
drivers. During mini setup i get a message box

The currently selected graphics display driver cannot be used. It was
written for a previous version of Windows, and is no longer compatible
with this version of windows. The system has been started using the
default VGA driver. Please contact your hardware manufacturer to get an
updated driver, or select one of the Microsoft provided drivers.

Then when the OSD install has completed the first time I log it it
finds the correct video drivers and then reboots and all it good.

Any ideas this has got me stumped.

Regards

Simon
