Apps works fine too as far as I tested...
But, in order to install apps from the DVD you need to write the
OSDPACKAGEPATH value (Set to <DVD-Drive>:\PackageID) to osdenv.ini in
the postinstall phase (or using sysprep cmdlines.txt). This because
the DVD-Drive most likely isnt X:\ anymore (unless set to this during
a cmdlines.txt script)
If you just want the client to connect to the DP and install the apps
as usual you need to update the OSDPACKAGEPATH value with the UNC path
to the image package. Don't forget to update osdenv.ini with
credentials to connect to the DP (the _OSDRESERVED1 values).
Note: Nothing of the above or the article is a supported solution by
Microsoft (not much tweaks to OSD are).

Hi !
Is there a way to solve the following problem: We have an location with no
network connection to our company network.
In this location, till now all new clients were installed with simple Ghost
images. Now we want to use SMS OS deployment and software distribution to do
this job.
Is it possible to create a complete offline DVD with all needed content (OS
& software) to install the clients ?
Thanks!
