Re: OSD ZTI installation cd "path not found" error

I've verified that when I deploy a ZTI advertisement through SMS, all goes
well, so the references in CustomSettings.ini must be fine... Is there
something with NTLM/Kerberos auth I should take into account?

I'm a bit stuck here..
I have double checked the references in CustomSettings.ini and there are no
entries in the bddadmindb database.
I did once aborted a image capture process, but I've double checked all my
permissions on the SMS shares and they look fine to me. I've configured the
SMSinstall (network access acount) to be used during the creating of the cd
and this account has the correct permissions on the share.
I'm a bit out of suggestions, do you perhaps have another?
Thanks.

You only need to change the bddadmincore table (in the bddadmindb
database) if you have populated it with the package/program
combination to use. Most customers don't and those fields are empty by
default.

Interesting....I've previously removed the image package and created a new
one. I saw that Customsetting.ini had a wrong (old) package ID and have
changed this.
Which reference in the bddadmindb database should I change?
Or there other references which may contain old package ID references?
Thanks.

80070003 normally is that the sms image program name doesnt match the
program name in customsettings.ini or in the bddadmindb database
By replacing osdshell.exe with a renamed osdshell.lab.exe you can
start a commandpromopt by hitting ctrl+F8, useful for debugging.

I've already added this switch and validation phases go well (this is the
NewComputer scenario)
The exact error message is:
"The system cannot find the path specified (80070003)"
Any other suggestions?
I've also seen you talk about adding a dosprompt to be executed. How do you
achieve that?
Thanks.

The quickest way (often) to find out why the installation cd isnt
working is to add /debug:true to the argument section when creating
the installation cd. ZTI will now echo all info out to the display.
The most common thing is missing nic drivers in winpe...

I've succesfully configured OSD. I can do a succesful ZTI installation by
distributing an advertisement with all phases and life is good.
But when I create an OS installation through the SMS mmc and boot a machine
with this cd I'm getting the error "path not found" just before the image is
about to be downloaded. All my shares are (to my knowlegde) setup correctly
with the according permissions.
Any idea where to start troubleshooting? I find it strange, since it works
fine through SMS.
