Re: ZT Backing Up Administrators Group Membership

Sorry, we'll try to make that clearer in the new version. ("PowerUsers(*)"
is required to migrate the Power Users group.)

Strangely enough, I have found that once I add Administrators(*) to
CustomKeysUserData, all members of the administrators group is backed up
and
restored successfully. This needs to be made clearer in the documentation.

Cheers.

Hi,

Has anyone managed to successfully backed up and restore the
administrator
group membership when deploying through ZT? In the ZTI Deployment Feature
Team Guide under section "Backing Up the Administrators and Power Users
Group
Membership" it specifically says "If the CaptureGroups setting is missing
or
set to any other value, the Administrators and Power Users group
membership
is migrated". Im under the impression that this means the groups or
accounts
listed in the administrators group (on the local computer) is captured
and
restored to the new OS. Have I somehow misinterpreted this or does this
feature not work?

Thanks.
