Here is the fix.

I’m having a problem with my Windows 2000 Pro OSD image during the.
Plug-and-Play phase after Postinstall. I have created two separate identical
images using OSD. One with the video driver installed and one without the
video driver installed. My image has the OS and patches, SMS client in
dormant state, and Sysprep 1.1 on the root of C:\. In both image scenarios
when OSD finishes installing the image and the Plug-and Play phase starts I
get the following error message; “The currently selected graphics display
driver can not be used. It was written for a previous version of Windows. The
system has been started using the default VGA driver.” I get this message
even on the image that was created with the video driver installed. If I take
the same computer and just run sysprep with the same .inf it runs fine. It's
just when I run it captured in the OSD image. It's also worth noting that I
have to use the -pnp switch when I'm setting up my capture. If I don't use
the -pnp switch sysprep does not fire during the image install. I’m thinking
it might have something to do with my sysprep.inf file. And ideas?
