Thank you for your post.

The filetype .MP3 DOES migrate if it is in any other included folder
(Desktop, My Documents). The files that do not migrate are only those in
the My Music subfolder of My Documents. We believed that any subfolder of
My Documents would be migrated by the inclusion of My Documents. We were
very surprised when the iTunes files (*.M4A) that belong to our CEO and were
stored in My Music were lost. Luckily we were migrating from old computer
to new computer and could copy them manually to the new system.

I have done some customizing of miguser.inf but I do not find any reference
in it to "mp3" or "music".

I believe that we will be openning a ticket with Microsoft to help answer
this mystery.
