I use the following method to install from 1 cd/dvd ( you can fit a
minimal xp sp2 wim on the osd cd )

create an osd install cd through the wizard, use the default options
edit the iso ( winiso/ultra iso )
copy the osd package source folder to the root of the iso
save as a new iso file
test in a virtual pc ( boot directly from the iso ) or burn to a CD/DVD
from the wizard select 'Install...from another location..'
in the Package Folder box enter x:\osd package source you copied to the
iso ( or use the browse button )
note you must leave the cd in place until the deployment has completely
finished to the ctrl alt del screen on the new build
