Hello, everybody:

We are evaluating SCCM 2007 and I have no previous experience with SMS
2003. I Installed one client successfully. I went through the software
distribution checklist using a mandatory advertisement (in the
Interaction tab checked "Allow users to run the program independently
of assignments"). Then together with the mandatory assignment, on the
Schedule tab I opened a maintenance window that would fit this
schedule.

What should I expect on the client side? Should the program I am
sending start running all of a sudden after the selected schedule in
the server?

In the Software Distribution tree view I can see the advertisement
showing the status "Not started" forever. If I go to the client I
don't see any item in the "Run Advertised Programs" utility. What
could be wrong?

I've been several days with this and can't find what the problem is.
