Re: Rollout Registry Settings via SMS (w/Adv Clients)

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I am attempting to rollout 3 registry files using a batch file through SMS 2003. SMS states the batch file completed successfully, but none of the registry entries are applied. I am using DFS as the data source so that the batch file can point to the DFS share where the registry entries are located.

Does anybody have an idea of why this will not work? or have a better way of doing this?

Thank you.

What hive are you putting the reg keys in?
Is your batch file running using administrative credentials in the program settings?
