DP / Package distribution error

Hi all,

Got a strange issue currently with a new DP.

SMSSITESERVER has the role DP and has some packages with a source server
being \\SERVER2\packages

I've then created a DP/Server share going to \\SERVER2\DP$

When I select packages to use the new DP, they fail with this warning:

Package is not created on the new DP.

I created a new package source on \\SERVER3\packages and copied the package
over ... and then everything works fine. (Even without the SMSSITESERVER
computer account in the local admins

Permissions on both packageshares are identical.

I then tried on a NAS ... same issue ... not working ...
