Just for the record. Turns out we had a rogue SMS Site with conflicting
boundaries. My clients were assigned to the correct management point,
but for some reason they were requesting locations from the rogue site
server.

Thank you for reporting back -- it's likely your clients were getting that
(rogue dp) information from Active Directory, or possibly WINS.
