I have a package with some source files. These do not need installing, all
I'd like to do is copy them to a location on the client.
At the moment I use the following command in the program:
xcopy /e "\\server\share\*.*" "C:\Folder\"
Of course, this copies from the specified server share, not the various
SMS
Distribution Points. How do I configure the program so it copies the files
from the DP?
For something like this, I'd recommend creating a simple SMS installer
script.
For file replication (copy) from server to server, I like Robocopy -- far
more resilient.
