I think I solved the problem. I don't know if this is the correct solution,
however, I am now able to advertise and install software on workgroup
machines.
Defined a client push account:
--> Connection Accounts --> Client --> %machinename%\std_account
Created a std_account on the workgroup machine with administrative privileges
