hmmm Lars is correct that you shouldn't delete those files. However, "
update of the DP will fail." is not accurate.
If compressed file is not there then complete package will be resend. So its
not really a failure point but it is not minimize a hit on your network
bandwidth utilization.
In case of msi, as Mark pointed out, that they are already compressed, delta
replication will not be much useful. In that case, we recommend using Admin
shares. So now, only files that have changed will be replicated instead of
complete msi.
