I am installing SMS 2003 w/SP1 at our site and trying to size servers storage
correctly. I beleive .PCK files are created when packages are created and
the source files are compressed and sent to child sites to uncompress and
copy the source files to the DPs. After the packages reach the DP are these
files needed or can they be deleted? Since msi files are already pretty much
compressed the file size are comparable, so if the site server also is a DP,
twice the space may be required to house files. Thanks
