I strongly recommend using the Recovery Expert available on the SMS 2003
media. I've used that checklist and steps to move to new hardware several
times. They have a step-by-step guide/scenario just for moving to new
hardware.

Hello ,.
Here is my first post to this newsgroup.
I have to migrate an existing SMS server 2003 (Windows 2003 server/MSSQL
2000) to a new server because hardware is too old.
Only valuable documentation I have is the Microsoft System Management
Server 2003 Operation Guide. Nevertheless this guide is not enough. I ll
need some advices .
How to proceed to migrate my actual SMS Server 2003 to a brand new
hardware ?.
Is there any documentation about migration and SMS server 2003 ? .
Regards.
Guillaume.
