Silent is not possible, unattended is. You can extract the Service
Pack 3 files to run the command: sms2003sp3.exe /x you will then get a
dialog box to specify the location, for instance d:\SMS2003sp3
After you extract the files you can run the command D:
\SMS2003sp3\smssetup\bin\i386\setup.exe /upgrade
It is not entire unattend since you receive a succesful message after
the setup.
