Hi, and thanks for your response, you are correct with the issues I am
facing, but is it possible to follow your step number 2 without reinstalling
iis?

If not should I install the sccm 2007 on another server (my alternatives
would be my domain controller but it doesn't have sql 2005 on it and my database server which runs sql 2000 and hosts the virtual server with windows server 2003 on it)?

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

My name is Gary Wang, and it is my pleasure to work with you on this issue!

Please allow me to confirm that my understandings are correct. As I
understand it, the issue is:

You have met some errors when adding roles in SCCM 2007.

If I have misunderstood your concerns please feel free to let me know.

Suggestions:
=============
According to your event log, I would suggest that:

1. The event ID 1016 and 1014 indicated that SMS SYSTEM HEALTH VALIDATOR
role installation failed. Site componet is continuously trying to install
SMS SYSTEM HEALTH VALIDATOR on every polling cycle. At every polling cycle
rolesetup.exe /install /siteserver:CONFIGSYS run to install the role but it
fails and logs the error 1016 in event log. However, Windows Server 2008 is
the only supported operating system for hosting the System Health Validator
point site system role. System Health Validator point role installation
will fail with error code 132 on windows 2003 server.

2. For event ID 10005 and 11708, please try that renaming the Repository
directory under C:\Windows\System32\Wbem. Run the command "for /f %s in
('dir /b *.mof *.mfl') do mofcomp %s" (without quotes) from
C:\Windows\System32\Wbem to recompile all .mof files thereInstalled MP.
Then reinstall IIS and MP
