You can use this noidmif, what error message do you get? however I'm not sure that you can use the mifgen util in sms 2003.

Hello Everyone,
In our SMS 2.0 sp5 environment we used a noidmif file to collect specific
information about our customer and their desktops. The file was created
using the mifgen tool. Which created a file called clntinfo.xnf. Which
resided in c:\program files\mifforms directory. When this file was populated
and saved to the SMS client noidmif directory as clntinfo.mif and
clntinfo.sev files.
Prior to our clean install of SMS 2003 we save all three file to the root of
C:\ on the desktops. My question is will be still be able to use these
files? The problem is when we try to update them and save the updates we get
a command filed message. The legecy client for SMS previously resided in
c:\windows\ms\sms\noidmifs. Now we have SMS 2003 with only advanced clients.
Which resides in C:\windows\system32\ccm. Not sure if that is what is
causing the problem. These files get updated regularly so I need to know if
we can still use this format.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Steve
