Hi,

I have a single forest, single domain, single SMS site setup. My clients are discovered and assigned. However, when I look at the All Systems Collection, the client shows that it is not installed. When I log onto the machine, the Systems Management icon is in Control Panel. When I click on the Advanced tab, the site code is empty, and when I click on discover, I get an error message saying "Automatic site code discovery was unsuccessful". I'm not sure what is causing this. This is only happening to some of my clients and not all of them. Being that it can't find its site code, is that why it's showing up in the collection as not installed? Any suggestions on how I can fixe this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Yes, that's why they show as uninstalled.
In the sms admin console, right click one of these systems, select properties.
Note the ip subnet.
Verify whether you see this subnet in your site boundaries.
