Because of the SMS_SQL_Monitor service, I think that you can't use any 64
bit OS. I will try to confirm that tomorrow but I think you are out of luck

Garth,
These specs refer to the SMS server, I plan to have the database on a
seperate dedicated SQL 2005 Std. 64 Bit server. Is this also not
supported?

Kim, What about moving the database from SQL 2000 to SQL 2005? Are
there any further steps that need to be taken?

Hello,

My SMS Server is technically quite suitable but I have a dedicated
SQL Server ofr database hosting and managing.

I have tried to move this database to another server and redefine
my
SMS installation. But it failed.

Does anyone has a valid procedure in order to help me change my
SMS
DB references ? My manager is tracking me ;-).

Thanks to anyone that could provide help.

David
