I would go for SMS 2003. You avoid a lot of problems and there is no garantee that you will be able to upgrade from the beta/rc to the RTM version when that is available (=reinstall).
And I guess the EULA for SCCM only allows you to install and test the product, not use it in production (except for TAP and rapid deployment customers?).

Looking to install either SMS 2003 or SCCM 07 beta for desktop support and reporting.
Does anyone in this group recommend SCCM even though its in beta?
