SMS Not Publishing to Active Directory

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I have a question I hope someone could help me with. I cant get my MP
and Site Server to publish to AD and i think i messed up the schema
somehow. Here is my situation. I am running SMS 2003 SP2 in advanced
security mode in a forest with one root and two child domains. I
installed SMS2003 as a test, but in our production environment- slap
my hands now. But anyway, I uninstalled SMS2003 on the original
server and reinstalled on a different server(both were in the same
child domain). BUT I used the same site name, which I think may have
been a bad idea:

Here's is what i have done

1. Uninstalled SMS 2003 from original server
2. Installed SMS 2003 on new server
3. I re-extended the ad schema for good measure -- I don't really know
if that does anything since it had already been extended
4. I installed using the same site code that I used before
5. I ran discovery over the weekend and found PC's
6. I pushed a client install to all of them, but none of them show up
as having a client installed, ie when I run the query "All Client
Systems," it is blank
7. Query "All NON-Client Systems" has the same number of systems as
"ALL SYSTEMS"
8. On my local PC I used SMS Trace to view ccmsetup.log and it
completed successfully
9. BUT when I open systems management in the control panel, it says my
client is still pointing to the old management point.
10. So I opened ADSI and browsed to the Systems Mangement
Container and saw values in it still pointed to the old server name.
11. So then i noticed the new server didnt have full access
to that container. I gave it full access to the container and all the
children of the container and waited, but it still did not publish.
12. Then I ran extadsch twice and still it woudlnt publish.
13. Then I deleted the Systems Management container in ADSI
hoping it would recreate.
14. I ran extadsch twice from a domain controller in the
parent domain and in the child domains and it still didnt recreate the
SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT container.

All of my clients are pointing to a MP that doesnt exist, and AD does
not reflect my MP. What should i do?
