Hi Christian,
I've seen a similar issue once. It turned out that the sms admin console
was messed up on the client and not the same SP level as the server. The
issue did not appear on the server itself when RDPing to it.

I am running SMS 2003 sp2. I had to move my SMS server to a completely new server and new install after I had already installed the sms client to the workstations. I am trying to push out the sms client and redisover all of my devices. I am having problems of the clients reporting as assigned and as the clients showing they have a client installed. Under Client Installation methods-Client Push Installation-under the Accounts Tab where I add a domain admin account to push out the clients, the account itself keeps disappearing from this Tab, I add me back in, save it of course, I go back in a few minutes later, its still there, but then the next day, the account is gone.
