Assigning and Publishing

Hi all,
Having played with the Group Policy features for MSI's recently, and
now in the middle of a test SMS deployment (we're migrating from
Novell/Zenworks), is there anyway to do an assign/publish style
approach with SMS just as you can with Group Policy? The Group Policy
way acts in a way similar to Zenworks for publishing apps to the
clients, but misses a lot of the complex features that we'd like to
use SMS for. It seems from testing that our perfect deployment
scenario away from Zenworks would be the way that Group Policy does
MSI assigning and publishing, but through SMS instead.
Any thoughts?
Steph
