We have an issue here on our Distribution Point. Domino is occupying
port 80. If we change IIS to another port, eg 8080, will this affect
anything? Do we need to make any changes on the client?
Server1-MP - W2K2 Ent SP1, IIS6, WebDAV enabled, Primary Site
Server2-DP - W2K3 Ent SP1, IIS6, WebDAV enabled, Domino, File Share for
DP
You can switch the port that the client uses, however there are a couple of
steps that you have to take... add an alternate port at your sms site (say
8080). Run portswitch.vbs (from sms installation media) on each client you
want to change. Test to be sure that everything works the way you expect!
