Hi,
This can be a number of security issues.
Check the account under which you want to install OSD and if that
account has rigts to the SMS server and his database.
Is your PC a member of the local group
SMS_SiteSystemToSQLConnection_sitecode on your SMS server.
Is your account a member of the local group SMS admins on your SMS
server.
Configure COM security rights for the SMS Administrator console:
1. In Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools.
2. Under Name, double-click Component Services.
3. Click Component Services, and then expand Computers.
4. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
5. Click the COM Security tab.
6. Under Access Permissions, click Edit Limits to open the
Access
Permission dialog box.
Note
By default, anonymous logon does not have remote access
permission.
7. Under Permissions for ANONYMOUS LOGON, click Allow for
Remote Access,
and then click OK to close the Access Permission dialog
box.
8. Click OK.
9. Close Component Services and then close Administrative
Tools.
10. You must restart the computer for the changes to take
effect.
Also check if your local firewall is turned on.
