Ok, so what should I do? remove the old sms clients and a specific site
boundary from the 'old' sms-infrastructure before adding this specific
site boundery in the 'new' sms-infrastructure?
And if you don't, what can happen if the boundaries overlap?
thanks

Hello, I have a question:
I understand it is possible to have multiple primary SMS sites within a
same domain/forest.
We possibly need to revert to such an implementation (multiple Primary
sites). These sites are part of a migration. One is the 'old' SMS
2003sp2 environment. The other is the 'new' SMS 2003sp2 environment.
For good reasons it has been decided to implement a whole new SMS
Primary site environment within the same infrastructure/forest. As it
is a large organisation, it is not possible to change this overnight,
so we are faced with a sollution where two SMS primary sites are
available within the same forest. There is no need to push out
SMS-client software to clients (they will be installed through group
policy or an other proces). Machines that will become part of the new
SMS Primary site have been RIS-ed/reinstalled (with possibly a new
machine-name) and are not present in the old SMS Primary site.
One thing I wonder about: In this situation, can the SMS Primary sites
share the same Site Boundary's?
I don't want the new RIS-ed/Reinstalled clients to register in, or
revert to the old environment..
many thanks in advance!
