This link provides details on how to build your own custom client.msi..
Publishing software through group policies shouldn't be that hard once you
have the mis.

Thank you, Kim.
I'm new to SMS. How to use GPO to install the client. I had searched the
deployment guide and found that it described this method briefly. Would
you
give me a link that had the details procedure.
Thanks

There is no other impact to disabling file & print sharing other than
client
push.

My company will deploy SMS 2003 sp3 in December. We only got WinXP and
Server
2003 in our environment. Due to the security policy in our company, the
file
and printer sharing service had disabled in all the workstations. I
know
that
it is one of the requirement to use the push client wizard to deploy
the
advance agent to the workstation. Is there any other method to deploy
the
agent to the client. Is there any other effect on inventory scanning,
software update and software distribution.
Thank you.
H.K.
