Hello guys,
many thanks you for anwers. Here are really interesting informations I found
in SMS Operations Guide on this URL:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sms/sms2003/opsguide/ops_1sz2.mspx?mfr=true
If your SMS sites have an ICP applied and your client computers run Windows
2000 or Windows XP Professional operating systems, SMS offers support for
Multilingual User Interface Packs (MUI).
The Advanced Client included with each ICP consists of a single Advanced
Client installer file, Client.msi. The Client.msi file includes all language
resources necessary for clients to switch between supported languages. The
default installation language is English. To display (I think thats required
only for installation, not for displaying correct language SMS aplets in
Control Panel) an Advanced Client localized installation language, you must
install the Advanced Client with the TRANSFORMS command-line option.
Requirements SMS Advanced Client users or administrators do not need to
create a registry key to use MUI. After the Advanced Client is installed, the
user can switch from one language to another, within the supported languages,
without reinstalling the SMS client software. However, the user must log off
the client computer and log on again each time the user changes the display
language.
I AM ASKING HOW "user can switch from one language to another" ??? I believe
that it is possible - it depends on which dll files are used because I also
recognized this behavior:
If I will replace dll library files in folder "C:\WINDOWS\system32\CCM\1033"
with
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\CCM\1029" dll files all SMS agents are in Czech -
independently of language OS. There must be some mechanism how SMS client
detects OS language and then use dll files from appropriate folder. Maybe I
could resolve problem overwriting dll files, but I am affraid of unexpectable
behavior and unsupported configuration of SMS Client.

You do not have to replace any msis on the management point. Installing the.
ICP adds some mst-files which are applied when installing the client.

I do not handle non English environment but I believe replacing the
client.msi should help, if the ICP contains it.
You can replace the client.msi on your SMS management point with the ICP
client.msi

I am testing SMS 2003 SP2 + ICP2(International Client Packs) and I am
trying
deploy Czech language SMS Advanced Client on Windows XP SP2 English with
Czech regional locale.
The problem is, that installed SMS Advanced Client is in English, with
exception Remote Control Agent - it is Czech.
SMS Advanced Client installed on Windows XP SP2 Czech version is
installed
correctly all agents in Czech language.
Does anybody know how to switch ccmsetup or some other SMS component to
install language specific version SMS Client. Preferable is Client push
installation method.
Thank you in advance
