Planning SMS deployment

Hi,

We have three building buildings which are connected through MAN links
and contained in a single domain with 2 sites (1&2 in one site and 3 in
a different site). We have to implement SMS here. I would like to know
how to design SMS deployment here e.g how many min sites with the best
administration, database for SMS and etc. Please suggest
