Great, thanks Steve, can't I slipstream the SP2 manually?
Unfortunately, this is not supported (and there is no way that I am aware).
I don't have
volume licensing... I purchased SMS standalone... so how do I get the
slipstream, or do I have to downgrade SQL back to 2000SP3a?
You'd have to:
1) install SMS 2003 RTM on SQL Server 2000 (I'd use SP4).
2) upgrade to SMS 2003 SP2
3) upgrade your SQL Server 2000 to 2005
