My environment is:Subnets
1 Primary Server (Win2003)
1 Secondary Server (Win2003)
Advanced Security.
AD Schema not extended.
Using Legacy Clients.
I've set the AD Site Boundaries for each site server (also put in IP
as I'm told legacy clients don't support AD sites?)
That's correct... legacy clients do not understand AD (not default installs
anyway).
and all clients are shown
as assigned. The clients at Primary are installing fine but the clients at
secondary are not installing using client push. I can manually install a
client at secondary but it does not show in the console as installed.
I notice using client puch there is a check box that says 'include only
clients assigned to this site'. Should the primary boundaries also contain
the boundaries of the secondary site?
No, you don't want to do that...
I've enabled the secondary site as a proxy mp and all mp tests communicate
fine.
Really not sure why the secondary site clients will not install? Any help
would be appreciated.
Legacy clients need a SLP and CAP to communicate with... what to the server
side and client side logs indicate?
