SMS 2003 with Admin Rights to OU only

Hello -

I work in an environment where each OU is managed by seperate admins,
as they correspond to different departments. I manage the OU and
everything associated with it for my department. I am looking to
implement SMS if possible, and am concerned about doing so without
touching AD itself - I do not have access to manage the schema. Is this
possible? Can I implement it and only use it to manage our OU? Note: I
do not have access to the wins server.
