Re: Cannot install SMS2003 Primary Site with SQL2000sp3a

OK, at Nuclear's request, I cancelled any posts that had the CD key in them.
Here's a summary of other helpful information in posts that included the
original message + CD key:

Steve Thompson said:
"Does your ITSZ\SMSService account have sysadmin rights in SQL Server? One
way to tell, log in with this account to your NT machine 'ITSZ-NETFINITY'.
Attempt to create your SMS database, using SQL Enterprise manager MMC --
does this work?

If so, create the database, re-start the SMS setup process and choose the
options (from memory), do not create new database, use existing database and
enter the name of the database that you gave it on creation.

Steve
PS I recommend using SQL Server 2000 SP4 as well..."

Asif Razzaq Attari said:
"Remove hyphen from machine name ITSZ-NETFINITY, restart system then try to
install. I had faced this problem."
