Are you running Windows 2003 SP1 for anything? There are known issues with
the firewall in that. Unlike XP, the firewwall is off by default, but if you
run the secure config wizard, it could get in the way.
I don't know if Miho reads the .setup forum, but she often reads and helps
troubleshoot admin console connectivity questions in the .admin forum.
(She's a dev here at MS and does a lot of console stuff.) You might try
posting there.
