Anyone know what I need to do to the SQL Server machine if
I want to install the Site Server and the Site Database on
2 different machines? (i.e. installing the SMS database on
a remote SQL computer). ALot of documentation says that I
need to add the Local Machine account of the SMS Site
Server into the Local Administrators' group of the SQL
Server? I cant seem to add computer accounts, I can add
users and groups but it wont let me add computer accounts
in Windows 2000 to the Local Administrators group. In
Windows 2003 I can do this just fine but selecting
the "Object Type" when the user/group selection screen
comes up when adding members to the local administrators
group.
Any help is appreciated.
