In the security logins node from SQL Enterprise manager do you have
BUILTIN\ADministrators? If so can you add the account to the local
administrators group on the SQL machine? Right click on the local (Windows
NT) and choose properties. In there is a security tab which will indicate
Security mode and you can also enable auditing.
