This is where having a test lab is really really really helpful. I've seen
recommendations that suggest you create one bundle of patches for each
platform+service pack. So, all the XP-RTM would be one bundle, the XP-SP1
would be a separate bundle. Then target the collections appropriately. But
test it, to see if that works with your network.
