Upgrading would not fix this. Someone has changed the password for this account and since you have acct lockout enabled after so many bad password attempts, it keeps locking out the account. You need to find out the password and change your account to reflect this new password.

The SMS site control manager started failing today......it is locking out the login account and i cant get it to stay started. I have tried to re-install the SP5 for SMS 2.0 but it failes. and ideas?
Would upgrading to SMS 2003 fix this i have the software but have not done it yet.
