I'm having problems installing the SMS 2.0 Web Reporting
Tool. I can't get past the "SQL Server Admin Access"
installation page when it asks for the SQL "sa" password.
I do know the correct password and have changed it to be
sure. I get the following errors after clicking "Verify
Now"
First error message:
"The application failed to initialize properly
(0xc06d007e). Click OK to terminate the application."
Second error message:
"Password verification failed! Please ensure you have
mixed-mode security, Named Pipes as the default protocol,
then re-enter the SQL server connection information and
click the Verify Now button."
I've checked the following:
- SQL security is set to "Windows and SQL."
- Named Pipes is the default protocol.
- The correct password is being entered.
Any ideas?
