There is a command for adding a static entry to an NT 4.0 based WINS server.
It is mentioned on page 532 of the CPDG. It is winscl.exe and can be found
in the NT 4.0 Resource Kit.
I have not had complete success with the entries that I added using this
tool, but I have been able to add the entries. Can anyone help me with using
the tool to add entries?
For example, am I creating an h-node, p-node or b-node entry? I chose H
(hybrid), but is that correct? Am I adding a group or unique entry?
Thanks for any help you can give.
