We are in a situation where the SMS Administrator quit on us and we
have no clue and the training for SMS 2003 start in March 2008 in our
city. We have to push Feburary Office updates to both windows 2000/XP
machines and we have approx 700 machines. We don't have ITMU and WSUS
but only SMS 2003 server.

Someone please send me a very simple step-by-steps instructions on how
to push these updates out?

I have done the following so far:

Created a collections of all these updates MS08-001...etc
Created a packages/Microsoft Security Updates/Programs/MS08_001
....etc.
Advertisement MS08-001...etc
Now how do I push it to all 700 machines and how can i tell if it's
working.

Thanks a lot for any help to show me a light at the end of the tunnel?
