Re: SMS 2003 Report Customizaion

Imran,

First thing to do is to check the BIOS of the systems as that may be an
option which can be entered; if it is next thing to do is to check
sms\inboxes\hinv.box\sms_def.mof to see if the mof file is collecting the
relevant BIOS data, if it is fine, if not then you need to modify the file.

If the BIOS won't support this the easist way is to create a noidmif file
for each syste.

Hi,
here is my requirement. one of my customers want to add the serial no of
the machine which SMS 2003 collects, the serial no is in a sticker at the
back of the machine.

i want to know if its possible to add a field to the table that SMS uses
to
gather inventory data and put this data manually, or is there any other
way
of doing it?

Imran
