There's no script to back out a failed XP SP2 installation.
Options are to first push the XP Recovery Console to all systems so you have
that as an option to uninstall SP2 should a machine give issues like going
into continuous reboot cycle or gives "winsrv not found" error when
restarting. The winsrv not found is due to a missing patch to fix the TV
Media (3rd Party AdWare) software.
How to install and use the XP Recovery Console.

You receive a "Stop: c0000135" and "winsrv was not found" error message after
you install Windows XP Service Pack 2

Does anyone have any examples or resources on how to write an uninstall
script that i can use to deploy through SMS 2003? I'm Deploying Windows
Service Pack 2 and i need to create a Disaster Recovery plan incase of
failure. My SMS 2003 books refer to a script that i can use but i've
never written one. Anyone?
