Hello brain,
If you have found a MSI packager you should be fine with that. To create msi
packages i use Wise installer but this isn't a cheap piece of software. i
have also used a app called Rapid Installer by Altiris. you might be able to
find a demo from http://www.altiris.com
the way a package is created is to take a before and after shot of your
system settings. so you use your chosen application to take a base image
(snap shot) of you pc and then you Install your appliaction. Then take the
second snap shot and the two are then compared and the MSI package is created
from this.
I'm new to SMS myself so if anyone reads this and can ad additional
information to it, i'm always glad to learn something new.
If you get really stuck and you have time you can send me a copy of the app
and i'll package it for you.. Based in manchester in the uk.
